Today we did our holiday song presentations. These presentations were an expressive exam and group performance and cannot be made up.

We did not have a fingerspelling quiz this week.

Homework for over the break is to study your vocabulary and keep your signing skills sharp.

Today we practiced our holiday songs to prepare for Friday's presentations. The fingerspelling quiz was postponed until after break today this week because of the presentations. Every group presented in front of the class and some parent visitors.

Today we took a fingerspelling quiz from list #10. You need to schedule a make-up with Mrs. G. if you have already missed one this quarter.

We took a quiz on inflecting verbs. You will need to come in during 1st lunch or aftr school to make this up. You have the same number of days that you were absent to make this up.

We practiced our holiday songs. The order forms for the ASL 1, 2, and 3 vocabulary videos was due today.

Today we worked out of the Signing Naturally packet for unit 9. We completed through the Comprehension section, "Give and Take". We brainstormed about inflecting verbs and practiced them with a partner. We also practiced money signs with a partner. You will need to see Mrs. G after school or during 1st lunch about money signs and inflecting verbs to be prepared for the test on Thursday.

Reminders: Unit 9 test on Thursday, 12-9.
Order form and $ due for core vocabulary video by Friday, 12-10.

Today there was a substitute teacher. Your assignment was to write the 5 parameters for 20 of your vocabulary words from unit 9. It was due at the end of class. You have the same number of days that you were absent to make it up.

Today we had a fingerspelling quiz. The words were taken from practice list #9. Schedule a make-up with Mrs. G if you have already missed one this quarter. Remember, I drop the lowest fingerspelling quiz grade each quarter.

We started working on the Unit 9 Signing Naturally packet. You will need to get a video and write the main ideas in Conversations 1 & 2.

We reviewed vocabulary from Unit 9. The test will be on Thursday, 12-9.

Period 3 - Today we practiced and demonstrated our own stories using classifiers. You will also need to present a story to the class to make this up. We watched the film "See What I Mean, Differences Between Deaf and Hearing Cultures" and did a worksheet afterwards. You will need to check out the movie and get the worksheet to make this up.
